Shanghai was known as "a paradise for adventurers." Today Shanghai is "The Pearl of The Orient", China’s prime commercial center, trading port, and cultural center.

Must see sights:
The Bund: The emblem of old Shanghai and a gallery of world architecture. It was mostly constructed in the early 1820s and 30s, and harmonizes architectural styles and presents an air of dignity, elegance and strength.
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower: The symbol of new Shanghai, located in Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone. At 468 meters high it is the tallest tower in Asia and the third tallest in the world.
Jin Mao Building: 420 meters high, 88 stories, the tallest building in China.
Riverside Promenade: 2,500 meters long, Shanghai’s East Bund in the 21st century, consisting of water platforms, sloping green land, sightseeing routes, and the Riverside Garden, which enjoys a unobstructed view of the historic buildings of the West Bund.
Shanghai Museum: Distinct architecture with a collection of 120,000 cultural relics and art treasures.
Yuyuan Commercial City & Shanghai Old Street: A tourist and shopping center, combining tourism, commerce and historical sites--featuring the Ming and Qing Dynasty style.
Yuyuan Garden: Classic garden, constructed in 1559.
Xintiandi: Urban tourist attraction imbued with the city’s historical and cultural legacies, which features a multitude of special F&B, retail, entertainment, cultural, recreational, commercial and residential facilities in restored “Shikumen᾿houses - a old style of architecture only found in Shanghai.
Jade Buddha Temple: With its two priceless jade statues from Burma, dating from the Qing Dynasty.
Nanjing Road: 5,5 kilo meters long, the most bustling and prosperous street, known as" No 1 shopping stree of China".
Other sites: Shanghai Grand Theater, Shanghai Urban Planning & Development Exhibition Hall, The Century Park, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Library, Shanghai Gallery.

Suzhou one day trip

2: 9am-100am The Humble Administrator’s Garden, built in the Ming Dynasty (1509 AD), the Humble ,Administrator's Garden, covering 5.2 hectares, is one of the four most famous gardens in China.
3: 10am-11am: The Lingering Garden, one of the four most famous gardens in China, was constructed in the 11th year of Wanli reign under the Ming Dynasty (1593 AD).
4: 11am --12am: The Tiger Hill, has the reputation of being No.1 Sight of the Wu region. "It would be a loss if you miss the Tiger Hill in your visit to Suzhou,"
5: 12am -1pm: Lunch break
6: 1pm-2pm: The Hanshan Temple, The poem of “Mooring to the Maple Bridge at Night᾿by Zhang Ji of the Tang Dynasty is so oft-quoted and widely loved that the poetic rhyme and the bell-tolling sounds have made the Hanshan Temple famous at home and abroad.
7: 2pm-3pm: Silk factory
8: 3pm-4pm: The Master-of-Nets Garden, The outstanding feature of this small but elegant garden lies in the harmonious combination of living quarters with the landscape garden.

Water town tour

2: 1030am᾿230am scenic spots: The Twin Bridge, the symbole of ZhouZhuang, was built between 1573 and 1619.
Zhang’s House, was a minister’s residential house, was built between 1436 and 1449.
Sheng’s House, was the most richest merchant’s residential house, was built in 1742. there is a special food named after him.
